It is complicated and overwhelming not to mention stressing and taxing, what with all its intricacies and financial “what nots”. It is for these apprehensions that make it great to know of an array of options that allows you to manage such financial juggernaut.

Indeed, management of credit card bills payment is a really effective means of controlling your liabilities and not letting it become too much of a hassle in the long run—just take foe example how easy you can be allowed to consolidate credit card bills. In more ways than one debt management in its many forms has become a convenient and flexible avenue for today’s stressed out consumers. In so far as consumers far and out are being offered seemingly unlimited options for credit card management, one thing that often stands out is credit card debt consolidation.

Just to elaborate, credit card debt consolidation is when you combine your balance from all your credit cards. You can do this by cutting down on your high interest credit cards and retaining one credit card with the lowest interest rate. In so doing, you are projected to cut down your debt significantly.

This happens due to: first, having greatly diminished resources in potentially adding up to the outstanding balance; second, saving a value month after month on paying for a mere fraction of what you are to pay on interest rates should you continue to keep all your credit cards.

In the event that you do decide to go with credit card debt consolidation, bear in mind of the following credit card debt help tips. First, keep your options open about home equity loans. More often than not, interest rates are still quite burdensome to keep up with even if they have already been diminished and unitized.

One way of managing it better is to get a home equity loan or something of a similar kind that features an even lower interest rate. Second, you can seek help from a third party to settle your debt for you. Go to a bank, an expert individual, or a settlement company to represent you in negotiations with your credit card provider/s.

Addressing the issue of credit card debt management is indeed stressful and overwhelming. Hopefully with these options in consolidation, you get to attain peace of mind. Peace of mind that when it comes to that time of the month, you only get to think of a singular financial obligation with regards your credit card balance.

When one first finds out that their credit card debt has gone to collection, the instinctive reaction is undoubtedly of despair and hopelessness. What’s coming are ruined credit and possible lawsuits or bankruptcy.

The situation however is not as bleak as your debt collector would like you to believe and successfully negotiating credit card debt settlement with them is still possible. It is not going to be smooth sailing, but with the right method and enough persistence, it can be done.

A few important considerations:

Collection agencies usually pay only about 5 cents on the dollar for your debt from your credit card company!

The number can vary from 1-10 cents on the dollar depending on how old the debt is. At this point, your original creditor believes this is the best he can salvage (the creditor also receive tax benefit).

What does this mean to you? Well, you can expect to reach a better settlement when you negotiate credit card debt with them because they will still be making a profit.

Tips on how to negotiate credit card debt:

Start your first offer at about 15% to 20%. You can probably expect to settle somewhere around 25-40%, but each creditor is different and a good settlement for one company may not be a bad deal for another.

Remember, the collection agency still makes out on top for a 25% settlement because they only pay a couple cents on the dollar for it. You can also expect a to settle for lower the older the debt is.

Always remember your best leverage when you negotiate credit card debt settlement: bankruptcy. Take comfort in the fact that you are in the driver’s seat and have something they are after.

Don’t get flustered if faced with rejections, your creditor would be more than happy to settle and receive a portion of the balance than lose everything if you declare bankruptcy.

Demonstrate your financial problems by providing income, budgeting problems, and debt obligations. Show evidences. Never tell them you need the settlement to buy a new car or home, which probably isn’t a good idea anyways at this moment.

Late fees and additional interest are usually garbage. Look at your actual principal and analyze your balance and find out how much do you actually owe and how much are penalties.

Most penalties are made up by the collection agency to fatten their wallet and can easily be waived when negotiating.

Everything you agree upon should be in writing. I prefer to communicate everything through mail (registered) that way you easily have access to written records. Effectively keep track of everything and it could make a big difference on your settlement.

Your final arrangement in credit card debt negotiation is your credit rating.

Try to have the collection listing removed from your credit report if possible. Otherwise, try negotiate the listing, in descending order of preference, as: “paid” only, “settled” only, and “paid charge off” only, with no other negatives for each.

Remember, you want to limit the damage to your credit as much as possible otherwise your credit would be just as bad as if the debt remains unpaid.

Fixing your credit is not always an easy task. It’s not that the steps are difficult, it’s that it requires that you change the habits that got you into credit trouble in the first place. To try to repair credit in an efficient way, you might try using a credit repair checklist . A checklist means you can just follow the steps on the checklist, and begin to see some improvement in your credit score. Finally, you could be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel within just a few short months.

One of the steps you might see on a checklist is to start by bringing all of your debt current. You might not be able to do it right away, but you will be able to chip away at your debt, and see the changes in what you owe. Another item on a credit repair checklist might be to start to pay your bills on time. Making sure you no longer have any late payments can be critical to building a good credit score again.

Another step on the credit repair ladder could be to list the creditors you need to negotiate with to lower your balances. If you can’t afford to make your minimum monthly payments, then you need to call the creditors one by one and find out if you can work out repayment plans, get fees and penalties waived, or even reduce the balance you owe. Many banks are now more willing to work with late customers, to at least make sure some of their debt is repaid.

Using a credit repair checklist can help you to repair credit step by step and keep the process from becoming overwhelming. It’s important to keep in mind that this process will take a few months or even a year or two, until you start to see improvement in your credit score. If you can be patient, and follow the steps on the checklist, you’re sure to fix your credit quickly.

Being down trodden financially is never a welcomed event in a person’s life, and after the dust settles from a setback of such proportion, one of the first things on your agenda should be credit restoration. You may have to have a credit report pulled to see who of your creditor need the most attention first; generally you will want to work from the largest bill down to the smallest.

This will afford you getting the harder items off your plate and let you concentrate on getting your life back on course.

Restoring credit is essential in some many areas of a person’s life today, as you rely on your credit score to obtain financing, a job, homeowner’s insurance, and automotive insurance at reasonable prices. When you are thrust in a lower scoring credit rating, the aforementioned services will charge a premium to do business with you, as they see you as somewhat of a risk to do business with currently.

This may be the farthest from the truth, and being out of control temporarily of your financial situation caused this avalanche of pecuniary problems.

To restore your credit score start by prioritizing a list of companies that you own money to, and talk with your account manager with firm. Explain the situation that you have been traversing recently and ask them for help in a repayment plan that they find acceptable, and you can adhere to at the same time. Remember, they hold all the power over your credit rating, and in this case being professional, and not losing your temper when speaking to the various account managers is the only ways you will be able accomplish your goal of credit restoration.

Stay on top of this situation until every creditor is taken care of and take steps to prevent this monetary tragedy from occurring again.

Many people are already experiencing issues with their debts – bad credits, daily phone calls from collectors, letters telling that your balance keep on increasing, and so on.

Since this is the case, many of those people try to find ways on how to solve the problems on their debt; mortgages are just fine, it can wait since it is a secured loan, but what about the credit card debt? It’s not secured and if one keeps on falling behind his debts, he will then be forced to file for bankruptcy. Before the same thing happen to you, start applying for a credit card debt relief. In this day and age, looking for a credit card debt relief agency is easy, just search the web and you will be able to find tons of credit card debt relief agencies offering the best kind of service you can get, or is it really the best service you can get?

Finding a firm that can be of service to you is really easy, but the challenge comes when you are trying to find a reputable and honest firm that is after your best interest and not only the fee that you are going to pay them.

The first thing that you have to be alert when it comes to finding the right credit card debt relief agency is how long they promise your debt will be. If they are telling you that you can settle your debts in 4 years or more, you’re better off looking somewhere else because creditors can only wait for at most 3 years when settling for debts that have been re-negotiated.

You should also take note of how much fee they will be charging you. If they set their service fee to more than 17% of your total debt, then you should think again whether you are really going to afford their service or not.

Let’s face it. Debt is a burden. Nobody likes debt, but all too often, many of us find ourselves wallowing in it up to our elbows. When this happens, it feels as if there is no way to get out of debt other than to file bankruptcy.

But before you come to this conclusion, think about all of the other debt relief options that are available to you.

First, you can seek credit counseling. Finance professionals can help you create a plan to get back on the path of financial success. You can find these services in a variety of places. Sometimes there are local non-profit services available for free help. Talking with finance experts can be an extraordinary help because they may know of options that you have never heard of before.

Many professionals can even help you settle some of your debt for less than what you owe. By allowing these people to speak to your creditors for you, you may see all of your interest charges and late fees disappear from your balance due.

Plus, these debt relief programs may even subtract a portion of your principle as an incentive for you to pay off the balance at such a discounted rate.

Loan consolidations are also helpful tools that can help pay off high interest credit cards or loans with a consolidated, low interest loan. They may also be a relief to people who owe a large amount of money to the IRS.

But before taking out a loan to pay off a tax debt, talk to an IRS representative first to see if they can help you with a payment plan or another option.

When you find yourself buried in debt, it is important to remember that there are solutions out there.

Before you decide anything, speak to a professional first to determine what the best course of action is for your unique situation.

Have you lost your job like so many of us have and you are tired of getting collection calls all hours of the day and night? If so, you are not alone. You may even have considered declaring yourself bankrupt. However, negotiating debt consolidation may be an alternative to bankruptcy for you.

Here are some facts for you to consider. First of all when you file Chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcy, the bankruptcy stays on your credit record for a minimum of ten years. If that isn’t enough, every loan application has a question incorporated in it that asks if you have ever filed bankruptcy before. If it is longer than ten years ago, it still could count against you. So good luck with establishing your credit once again, or getting a lender to lend you any money!

Debt consolidation doesn’t repair your credit, but it does go away after seven years. Typically a collection or a charge-off drops off from your credit report after seven years. Therefore, if you consolidate your debts on a management program, you can at least show that you did pay something.

What happens with debt consolidation is you modify your balances owed on unsecured credit at a reduced interest rate. This action actually creates a smaller monthly payment that will fit into your budget. Be cautious however, as once you agree to a modification program, you will have to stick to it.

If you don’t, you could be in for some other issues such as a summons into court and having your paycheck garnished. So be careful when looking into these programs to make sure you can meet the new scheduled payment program.

Debt counselors will focus on your unsecured credit as these creditors have a lot more to lose in bankruptcy. Therefore the creditors tend to work with a counselor of choice. Just make sure you do your homework and select a good one.

One thing you might try is negotiation on your own with your creditor first. Sometimes honesty is the best policy and if you explain your situation to an unsecured creditor you may find that they will work with you. This way you avoid any fees charged by a company to do this work for you. A good debt counselor is very hard to find. You know your situation better than anyone so why not give it a try?

If you fail, at least your creditors will be aware of your situation so when they get a call from a debt counselor, they will already know that you are in trouble.

Debt consolidation can relieve you from some of the pressures of collectors. That is worth any effort as well.

Consumers needing to get out of debt have several options to choose from. Here is a mini-guide to debt solutions that can help consumers find the best debt management program to meet their needs.

There are many debt reduction programs that claim to help with debt. Unfortunately, many of these programs fail to provide meaningful debt solutions. Instead, they rely on gimmicks and smoke screens to entice consumers to enroll in to programs that simply do not work. This makes it important for consumers to know what to look for in a quality debt reduction program.

With this thought in mind, here are some tips and suggestions that can help consumers find a debt management program that gives consumers the quality help with debt they deserve.

Choose A Reputable Debt Consolidation Agency

The first step in choosing a debt reduction program is finding a debt elimination group that has a proven track record of honesty and success. Always conduct a careful background check of a firm to see if it is honest to do business with.

When conducting the background check, check to see if the firm is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). The NFCC has strict standards that force members to be financially responsible and to be completely honest with every client they help. These two things ensure consumers who use NFCC members receive honest help while trying to get out of debt.

These things also make NFCC members a good choice for credit card debit help or other debt management services.

Choose An Agency With A Good Track Record

In addition, check the success rate of the debt reduction program.

If the program’s success rate is verified by an independent auditing agency to be about 80-85%, the chances are good that the firm can help consumers get the credit help they need. That rate may seem high, but legitimate companies will go out of their way to help their clients get out of debt.

This makes the firm’s success rate a good benchmark to use when deciding on which firm’s services to use.

Choose A Debt Consolidation Firm With A Broad Range Of Services

In addition to providing honest debt management services, a good debit reduction agency will also provide other meaningful financial services.

For example, look for an agency that helps consumers create realistic budgets and avoid home foreclosure. A debt management agency that provides these services is trustworthy to provide credit card debit help because it shows the agency is able to provide help to consumers no matter their financial situation.

Getting Help With Debt: Do Your Research First

If consumers do some research in advance, they will find many trustworthy agencies that provides quality help with debt.

There are several resources online that can help consumers find these trustworthy agencies. Try a Google search using the keywords, “help with debt” and “debt reduction programs” to start. From there, look for a listing of programs in your local area.

With time and perseverance, finding a debt management agency that is trustworthy to do business with is possible.

In our present economy, consumer debt has reached unprecedented proportions and credit card consolidation loans provide a great way to gain control over an escalated credit situation.

The realm of credit card debt relief and repair can be confusing in the beginning and sorting through the con artists can be a chore.

Here are a few tidbits to help smooth your journey to financial freedom and make it easier to spot the good consolidation companies when you see them.

Credit Debt Consolidation Explained

Credit card consolidation loans serve as a means to pay off all of your various creditors at one time. It is a commonly used debt elimination plan.

All of your accounts are closed in good standing and your credit report reflects these positive closures. Therefore, your credit score begins to improve dramatically almost immediately.

The credit card consolidation loan is then repaid in a single monthly payment that is custom tailored to your budget.

Debt Consolidators: Find the Good Guys

While credit card consolidation loans can do wonders for your credit score in a short period, it is imperative that you take the time necessary to sift out the con artists in order to find an agency that is willing to provide you with an honest service for an honest price.

Credit card debt consolidation services that are above board will be willing to provide you with an upfront list of all fees and interest rates you can expect to pay during the course of your consolidation. Any company that keeps you in the dark is not worth your business.

Keep looking for a business that will be transparent with you.

Find Debt Consolidators Through The Better Business Bureau

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is another great place to check out your prospective credit card debt consolidation companies.

The BBB is a watchdog organization that keeps negative and positive customer reports on file, providing an unbiased overall appraisal of the service you can expect to receive from any given company. If the BBB gives your prospective company a nod, chances are high that you have made a wise choice.

Follow Through With Your Debt Elimination Plan

Debt consolidation programs can only do so much to keep your credit score stable and improving over the years.

While they can provide dramatic initial help and can serve as a pivot point for your financial standing, you will need to change your spending habits if you wish to maintain great credit in the days to come.

If you need a credit card at all, work with your credit card debt consolidation loan agency to set up boundaries for yourself to which you can realistically adhere. In addition, it is important that you make your consolidation payments on time every month, as each successful payment improves your credit score even more.

Credit Card Consolidation Can Improve Your FICO Score

Credit card consolidation loans can stop the downward spiral of consumer credit gone awry.

Very quickly, you will begin to see an improvement in your score, as your creditors are all paid off in one fell swoop. By making your monthly consolidation loan payments on time and enjoying life within your current financial means, you will walk into the future with an increasingly high credit score.

Debt consumes anyone who cannot pay cash for everything, making it inevitable.

Unemployment, reduced wages, and excessive debt can contribute to a person’s desperate search for debt relief. Unfortunately, most people don’t know where to turn.

An increased number of debt settlement scams have frightened even the most trusting people. Knowing where to look and what to expect will decrease scam victims. Knowledge goes a long way.

Why Do I Need Debt Counseling?

Some may already realize they need to seek debt counseling, but others are unaware of the benefits.

When a creditor calls repeatedly and demands payment, debt settlement can help stop these annoying phone calls. Debt counseling can help the borrower with credit card debt consolidation as well. If the borrower cannot afford the current monthly payment on all credit cards, he or she will benefit from debt counseling.

The debt settlement company can combine all credit card debt into one low monthly payment. Most debt counseling companies charge a fee, but unlike profit debt settlement companies, non profit companies offer low rates or sometimes free services.

How to Find a Non Profit Debt Consolidation Company

All non profit companies must be registered with the Federal Trade Commission.

Some debt consolidation companies may claim to be non profit, but you can look up their status with the FTC or Better Business Bureau. Don’t do business with a non profit debt consolidation company that demands high fees for their services.

Many non profits will help consolidate debt for free.

Look for reputable companies or ones that are affiliated with a religious organization.

Be sure to always research any debt counseling company before signing up for their services.

Debt reduction takes time to achieve, so be aware of companies that promise to ‘get out of debt’ in an unrealistic amount of time.

How Can Debt Counseling Services Help Someone Get Out of Debt?

A reputable non profit debt consolidation company has debt solutions that can help anyone with debt reduction.

Services usually include consolidating all debt into one monthly payment.

These companies work with creditors to reduce the total debt owed, which reduces the monthly payment. They can also eliminate any late fees or reduce interest rates by negotiating with creditors. While anyone can try to negotiate fees or interest rates with creditors, debt settlement companies are more effective than the average person.

Using Non Profit Debt Consolidation To Eliminate Debt

Eliminate debt the easy way by taking advantage of non profit debt consolidation services. One call to a debt agency can save someone the headache of calling and arguing with creditors. Debt solutions are easier and more convenient than ever thanks to the Internet. Just be sure to research any debt settlement company to avoid scams.

With the economy being as bad as it is, more and more people are finding themselves in overwhelming credit card debt.

The truth is that being heavily in debt is rarely your fault. Most people run into unexpected expenses or have a deluge of monthly payments that make it nearly impossible to live within their income. Once the monthly bills start piling up, that’s when daily expenses start getting paid off by a credit card.

Luckily, now may be a better time than ever to consider seeking credit card debt settlement.

Are You A Candidate For Debt Settlement?

People who will benefit most from going through a debt settlement program are those who are far in over their heads with credit card debt.

In general, you can judge for yourself if you have too much debt if your monthly debt payments begin to exceed approximately 20 percent of your monthly income. If your monthly payments are less than this amount, your debt situation is manageable and you may not need to seek credit card debt settlement.

If your monthly payments are around that 20 percent level, you are in a grey area of sorts. Seeking debt settlement would likely be overkill and too damaging to your credit, but you are in danger of being overwhelmed by debt.

If your debt payments are over this 20% level, it just may be time to seek settlement services.

The One Caveat Involving Credit Debt Settlement

Most debt handling firms will not accept your case unless your debt totals $10,000 or more.

This is because under this level, there are other (usually better) solutions to handling your debt. However, above the $10,000 level is where settlements begin to make sense. Credit card companies know that if you declare bankruptcy that they will have little to no recourse, so they will be glad to settle.

Shop For A Reputable Debt Settlement Firm

While it is possible to get a dramatic debt settlement with your creditors, be wary of credit card settlement firms that promise to get you pennies on the dollar. Most settlements end up being for 15 to 40 percent of the face value of the debt. If a firm is offering a better settlement than this, you may want to be on your guard.

How To Get Out Of Debt After Debt Settlement

Even if you are able to settle your outstanding credit card debt, that is absolutely no guarantee that you will be debt free in the future.

Most people who end up receiving a credit card debt settlement do not take any steps to fix their spending habits that got them into trouble in the first place. If you are able to reach a settlement, you should consider yourself lucky to have avoided bankruptcy. However, this does not mean that you have free license to get yourself into crushing debt yet again.

You may wish to begin saving some percentage of your income every month or dialing back your spending habits so that you won’t get into trouble again. It is easier than you think to avoid debt problems.

The credit bubble has burst and millions of homeowners are feeling the effects of the blast. As consumers fall further and further behind on their mortgage payments, they are fighting tooth and nail to prevent losing their homes to foreclosure.

However, there are steps that you can take to protect your home. Take a look at these tips to avoid foreclosure on your home.

Remember That You Have Time

In every states, foreclosure cannot happen overnight. The laws require the lender to attempt to collect the debt from you and go through a legal process before being able to sell your home.

You do have time. But, you do not have time to waste.

Begin considering your options as soon as you begin to fall behind on your mortgage payments. After all, the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Calculate Your Expenses And Develop A Budget

After all, if you are unable to climb out of foreclosure, you are going to have to declare bankruptcy anyway. In the course of the bankruptcy, you will be required to develop a budget as well as list monthly income and expenses.

Make A Budget Now. So, do it now and determine if you have the extra income to devote to catching up on the missed mortgage payments, fees and expenses.

Find Ways To Cut Expenses. After all, you do not need cigarettes, restaurants, cable television, new clothes or a Starbucks coffee. You do need a roof over your head. If you are honest in your assessment, many of the necessities that we take for granted are actually luxuries. Cut your expenses accordingly.

Increase Your Income. You can take a second job and your spouse or significant other can do the same. If you have children that are over the age of sixteen, they can work outside the home and provide additional income. Before, you say “I don’t want my children to have to work” ask yourself if you want your children to be homeless. Better yet ask your children whether they want to work to save the home. I’ll bet they will agree to do so.

Barter And Sell Unwanted Possessions. Whether you use a local classified ad, Ebay or Craigslist, every American has possessions that can be sold for quick cash. Even if you cannot raise enough money to prevent the foreclosure, cash on hand is necessary to place a deposit and first month’s rent on an apartment. Furthermore, anything you sell is not going to have to be moved if you have to leave your home.

Refinancing Your Mortgage

Although refinancing your mortgage is a possible alternative, quite frankly it will probably only be a temporary fix. First, of all your credit is already bad as a result of falling behind on your mortgage. As such, you will have to seek the services of a bad credit mortgage lender in order to refinance your home.

Second, the increased interest rate, fees and expenses are likely to make the monthly payment even higher. As such, you will be unable to maintain the monthly payments under the new mortgage.

Fighting a foreclosure is never an easy undertaking. However, your home is worth fighting for. If you want to learn more about how to stop foreclosure, here is A Guide to Stop Foreclosure.

It is free and contains a mountain of useful information to help you make the best decision in your efforts to keep your home.

Have you seen the credit card debt relief commercials on television? They offer to negotiate lower interest rates with your creditors, lower monthly payment and even offer to make the loan payments for you. A growing number of credit consolidation companies across the country claim they can do this by either lowering your interest rate or reducing the amount you owe.

This sounds like welcome relief to a person that is struggling under a mountain of debt.

However, the truth is that many of these credit card consolidation programs are scams. You could lose hundreds of dollars and find yourself in worse off. In the end, you will owe just about as much as you owed before with additional late fees and other penalties.

Debt Relief Scams

In the last few years, the Federal Trade Commission has sued more than dozen debt relief companies because they simply lie to their clients..

Non Profit Or Not? Some counseling services claim to be non-profit when they are actually a for-profit company. The non-profit pitch can make a potential client feel confident about signing up for the service. In fact, these companies are just preying on unwary consumers.

Hidden Fees And Charges? Some of these debt consolidators mislead people about their charges. They represent that there is just a small fee or no fees. Sometimes, they don’t mention the subject altogether. In reality, with the fees, the effective interest rate is higher than the worst debt consolidation loan on the market.

Debt Settlement Programs

Some companies now offer a debt settlement program wherein the companies represent that they can negotiate a debt settlement with your creditors and reduce the amount that you owe by 60% or more. They argue that, by performing this service for you, they can dramatically reduce your monthly payments. However, this is practically impossible to actually do. Consumer advocates strongly recommend against using any type of debt settlement program. They do not deliver what they promise.

Credit card debt relief scam artists have burned many of their “clients.” Everyone “qualifies” for the debt relief scam because the companies charge a large, non-refundable, up-front fee. They want to sign you up, collect the fee, and hope that you will not complete the program. The end result is that someone who is struggling with debt is now left with no real ability to get out of debt.

Credit Counselors Are A Better Choice

A legitimate credit counselor will tell you up front that there is no “cookie cutter” credit card debt help solution for everyone. Instead, they will meet with you to give you a free and objective assessment of your financial situation as well as the steps that will be necessary to pay off credit cards. A legitimate credit counselor might recommend debt management to 1 in 5 clients. The rest are taught fundamentals of budgeting, saving and how to become debt free on their own.

For those that need to consolidate credit card debt, the credit counseling agency will develop a customized plan and help you get out of debt within 60 months. You make one payment to the agency and the agency pays all of your creditors.

Think Before Using A Credit Card Debt Relief Company

It is true that struggling under a mountain of debt is frightening, but your finances are much too serious to make decisions based upon a radio or television advertising pitch. You want to find an organization that will design debt solutions specifically for you.

Instead you need to shop around and do your homework.

Initial Meeting. The credit counselor should spend an hour meeting with you to learn about your financial situation. If they don’t, keep shopping.

Ask Questions. The counselor should ask you a lot of questions and expect you to do the same.

Discuss Fees. As far as fees, the setup fee should not be more than $50 and the monthly maintenance fees should not exceed $25. If the agency avoids the subject of fees, keep shopping.\

Verify Non-Profit Status. Even though the agency claims to be non-profit, verify that fact with the Better Business Bureau or your local consumer advocate office.

If you do some research and shop around, you will be able to find a credit counseling service that will help you get out of debt without charging you an arm and a leg. Beware of the pitfalls and scam artists and find a credit counseling agency that is right for you.
